My family really enjoyes the whole love comes softly series. Nice to have a film that you are not afraid to let your little ones watch and you enjoy watching it also. Nice messages to the movies.
5 Stars Love’s Unfolding Dream
I really enjoyed this movie. I liked the love/hate relationship of the leads. I appreciate the time when women did not have the opportunities to be doctors. I liked how hard she worked and how determined she was to obtain the goal that she had. I really enjoyed the part where she was helping the woman who had a stroke. I felt like the acting was good. It is a family friendly movie.
5 Stars Total Chick Flick
I love all the Janette Oke movies and this one is very good. Guys seem to watch it too as my husband seemed to watch right along with me. It has a wonderful story line and keeps you engaged throughout the film. A positive addition to my collection.

3 Stars Just ok.
The movie is really sweet and heartwarming but nothing I would watch again and again. Not a big fan of queen Latifah (sp)…I just can’t take her serious. However, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson are as great actors as they are singers.
Movie was fairly entertaining but not worth adding to my dvd collections.

The secret life of bees was a wonderful story for family or adults. Dakota Fanning put in her expected excellent proformance. Her character was believeable, sympathetic and with purpose. The rest of the cast also did a smashing job.

5 Stars I visited Misselthwaite Manor!
Well, actually it was Studley Royal in North Yorkshire. I have a photo of the window seat and the paned window that Mary sat at looking out over the grounds. It is beautiful! This movie captured the beauty of the English countryside, the moors and the garden. Although it had the darkness of the bonfire and the “spell” bringing Lord Craven home, the characters sprang from the book. The other movies have been wonderful also, and put them all together and you have a remarkable bringing to life of the story. My mom read the book to us when I was very young when my grandmother was dying of cancer (though we did not know it at the time) and the book and story bring me back to that special time with my mom in our play corner in the garage. That corner took us to the Treasure Island, and to England, and all kinds of other places. Read the book to your child, then show them the movie. Then if you are ever going to England, make Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal a definite stop on your trip.
5 Stars A Classical “Must”
A very good movie to have and keep, to share with your kids and grandkids. A simple but wonderful story.
