3 Stars Just ok.
The movie is really sweet and heartwarming but nothing I would watch again and again. Not a big fan of queen Latifah (sp)…I just can’t take her serious. However, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson are as great actors as they are singers.
Movie was fairly entertaining but not worth adding to my dvd collections.

The secret life of bees was a wonderful story for family or adults. Dakota Fanning put in her expected excellent proformance. Her character was believeable, sympathetic and with purpose. The rest of the cast also did a smashing job.

5 Stars finding love the hard way
a young girl finds the need to leave her immediate family to join a black family who welcome her with open arms… uplifting story line must see.
4 Stars Sweet movie
I liked this movie. Nice to see African American women portrayed in a positive light. It’s the type of movie you would watch on a Sunday afternoon.
